Status for July 14, 2009
Last changed: Jul 14, 2009 12:46 by Raymond Camden

This status report is current as of July 14, 2009.

The OpenCFML committee has moved the wiki to Confluence. While the software process is done, we are still working on getting approval from Confluence for an open source-related license. We have also moved to JIRA to help track issues. This URL will be released later.

There is still serious discussion involved around CFSCRIPT, especially in regards to handling older tag based custom tags and other tag related issues. The current thinking is that we may not reach a consensus on this for CFML2009, but that we will at least finish voting on it so we can move on.

The next big push is agreeing on what will be standard arguments for tags and functions. We've already come to agreement at a high level (in regards to the mere presence of a certain tag for example), and now it is a matter of specifying which arguments for tags/functions should be in CFML2009.

Members Matt and Peter volunteered to work on a mission statement for the wiki, and Raymond will act as secretary by helping convert our internal notes into a public form.
